I move towards the edge up high

my eyes look straight into the sky

my arms wide apart

I jump out so far

shooting star

and I fly

Living and breathing
A faery leaping
Sighs heaving
Shadows cast

Standing still by the lake
Looking longingly at the horizon
The sun is setting
The sky is surging
Ready ripples roam on the surface
For a silvery fish took a fly
They move merrily
Swirling slowly around
The clouds are comely coasting
Purple and pale pink
Sailing straight seawards
Glowing gloriously in the dark
A breeze blows steadily
Softly sighs the wind
Leaves linger on the shore
And a bird boldly chirps
I breathe barely
Captivated by the colours
Spellbound by the sound
Transfixed by the tune

Nightfall is close
Bright colours turn blue,grey, then blackI
walk slowly home along the track
A hush falls as I find my way back
