Beating boldly when I see you
and jumping with joy
Racing relentlessly when I'm running
and shouting eager elation

Flutterig fearfully when all goes bleak
and missing multiple beats
Swelling and soaring with pride
when triumph tears down walls

Shrinking in my cheerless chest
when loneliness looms
Soaring and skipping in symphony
because we are wonderously worthy
of peace and powers

showering silently upon us

Deep blue and peaceful at times
to calm my soul and my mind
Then raging and eating men's lives
to cause deep pain and grief
Letting me sail on her grey skin
Carries my boat in a race to win
Feeding and soothing my heart deep within
The sea gives me joy and relief
